In some cases especially metal hollow masts the problem can be solved by filling the hollow mast with a mixture of epoxy and microballons.

Had the same issue with my Shinn P foil. This was their recommendation and it worked for me.

I sent my buddy this thread because his manta foil (their cheapest alu one) whistled loud af, you could hear him from pretty far away. didn't have a sanding block or the right grit sandpaper (just used 150) or any way to find the correct 30° angle just wrapped the sandpaper around a stick and gave it a few rubs along the trailing edge of the mast and the hum is completely gone. he says it feels like it has less drag as well but could just be a perceived difference

Weird, on racefoils the advice is to apply the 30deg angle on the exact opposite surface of the foil (top). But, for making foils silent any sharpening of the trailing edge works.

Ended up being the rear wing being a little out of shape.
Factory defect which is barely noticeable (only when placing it on a flat surface). Got it replaced very easily by liquid force.
Glad to know these guys provide an amazing customer service.
