You will notice on the video the bright orange foam deck pad so no need to paint anything. With the set ups I have used so far the Remora bobs on the surface so is easily spotted.
I've noticed you were using a Zeeko Carbon mast weighting less than or around 3 kg.
What is the limit? Is the buoyancy volume suitable for, say a 4 to 4.5 kg aluminium foil ? Takuma alu Supfoils must weight 5+kg

So I also use it with the takuma SUP foil and that's quite a hefty unit with that attached to the quatro it remains on the surface but I still always use a leash to be on the safe side
Cheers Paul

Not really, only small stuff. Although the forecast looks good here for the next few days so hopefully soon. With a bit of luck a video will follow.

Blimey..Yes August 8th was my last post on the Facebook page....Inventing a great product I can do....Social media not so much my speciality !
However, I am rapidly learning.
Remora is still going Good & Strong. We have a great 'Remora Quatro' that we are bringing to market first. Where I have been having difficulty is manufacture. Obviously as this is 'my baby' I require a high standard that I want from the production model. To this end we have sourced Stainless steel parts that should help with the corrosive nature of Sea water along with the regular washing in fresh water after use. My other criteria is Price to the market...and it is here that I have been struggling. I DO want the Remora to be produced in the UK, however I am yet to find a manufacturer that can produce the Remora at the price I need!!. As a consiquence of this Iam about to start making some Quatro's myself, of course this will reduce the numbers that are available but will get some out to you to try.
Currently we have a Remora Trio out on test in Barbados. The Remora made traveling just that little bit easier and cheaper..Not only did the Remora fit easily into a suitcase with a de-assebled foil. It has then been used for SUP Foiling on a hire board and some Kite Foiling..what-ever the conditions dictate.
Since my last posts my 'Remora' project has been picked up by an Entrepreneurial Developement Organization who have taken us under their wing and are now helping us with the search for Manufaturer's....and how to use Social Media !!!
So, the Remora Quatro (4 sucker ) unit should be the first of the Foil Attatchements that hits the market. I am on a mission to try and keep you all more in 'The Loop' of how we are progressing. In the meantime I really appreciate all the support and encouragement I have received and you never know..I might actually work out how to put a few pics of whats occuring on Instagram !!
Thanks again for all your interest from the Remora Team

I would defiantly want the foil and mount to float if it came off that’s for sure..
