Wondering if anyone has successfully shimmed inside a tuttle box in existing board. I have a go foil with single screw so can't shim the wings. Have heard of it being done; even though there is limited movement in mast to box connection. I need less lift (less weight forward paddle foiling) so thinking of putting washers or some kind of wedge at front of box. Any recommendations.

It works well, as the Tuttle has parallel sides. I wanted to adjust board liftoff to foil stall limit, which is quite important when you are learning.
I have used a 2mm thick (10x20mm) plate attached to the mast with double sided tape, and used aerosol primer to build up a bit of thickness on the sides for perfect fit.

I used to cut up an aluminum beverage can to shim my fin boxes in my windsurfing days. Just be careful with the sharp edges.

Where do you put the aluminum can shim? Wrap it around over the top, or wrap it around the front?
