Hi all,
The Moses 91 mast is now marketed for youth racing. As such it has 2 large white “stickers” on it with the class compliance info.
I’m long past being a youth and rather dislike the big white patches on a otherwise black mast. Dose anyone know if these are actually stickers and can just be pulled off without cosmetic damage? Or are they under the clear coat?
Thanks.
No idea about whether the stickers can be removed, but it does seem very strange that Moses/SAB haven't continued a standard 91cm mast!!?
Don’t think it is any different...... just moved sideways. But don’t know for sure. Have asked SAB via email but haven’t had a response.

Do the 940 and 945 wings fit the 710 fuselage when using the 6mm bolt fittings for 8mm holes?

I have for Windwing 1100, 790 and 950.
Mostly use 950 with 400 stabiliser. So thinking 945 or 940. 945 seems very close to 950 making me think 940, I am 75kg.

Is there any info or idea what are the characteristics of the 799 for kiting?
I have the 790 and use it with small single skin kites (like the P4 4m or the Long Star+ 3m) from 10 to 25 knot winds and it works grate; just wonder if the 799 might be better and in which way?

799 is 70% area of 790 so it’ll need a tad more speed to fly and I assume it is thinner so it’ll be faster. Kind of “higher aspect 679” I’d call it.

I remember that you used to be a big fan on the 695... How does this compare?

695 was my awesome step up in wing size for 647 fuselage (from 590 I was riding at that time). That was January 2019 and I loved 695. I still consider it a great wing - few friends followed my advice to get 695 and they’ve been flying the hell out of them.
The 800 appeared 6 month later and it has a bit more area so it delivers more lowend, glide and due to higher AR - more roll stability. The extra step in area - from 770 to 840 sq.cm was something I was looking for primarily - so I could get rid of 679 and heavy surf fuselage after getting the 800
The only time when I preferred 695 to 800 was in churning waters where 800 was just too big of a wing to be able to fly it fast. I’d had been much better there on my 637 race wing.

If you look at my kite foil quiver, there’s zero surf fuselages or surf fuselage-based setups. Every wing I have from 570 to 1200 sq.cm mounts onto kite fuselages and I’m very happy I made that move.

Hey if anyone is interested, I have a few of the Moses MHW060 rear stabilizer shim sets for sale on Ikite.
Ships to US only, and fits the surf fuse, not the kite fuse.
