Leaked call on YouTube explains the additional 800 grams of weight in Kraken system went exclusively into anodization layer. Riders complain way too much and company decided to put an end once for all to corrosion. 7mm of anodized layer can stop a bullet, not to talk about some silly salt
Not sure corrosion comes from exposure to salt water or electrolisis in salt water due to micro cavitations, or both, every time you hear the singing…its cavitation.
If anodization helped here, you would see anodyzed propellers and shafts, never seen one.
800grams in a 7mm layer? Never heard of 1.4 cm layer considering bouth sides…maybe 0.7mm…even so…800grams in 0.7mm layer would cover a great area…

So...additional to wing size - do you think I could get away with starting off on a 110cm board at my relatively light weight (65kg)? I don't expect to become a dedicated foiler so if I do take the plunge would prefer to get a setup I'm not going to want to upgrade too quickly. Leaning towards F-one Pocket plus IC850 V3.

Yes you can get away with it, longer board just makes it easier when training feet changes and jibes etc.

Got a W799 coming next week.
Use a S399 paired with my W695….M92.
A friend is selling a almost new S330 Youth.
Question:
Has anybody paired a W799 with S330?
Does it work OK for light wind slalom kiting?
Or instead of having 2 sets just share the S399…
Thanks

it is unbelievable, the season already started and Moses still cannot sell new 699 wing. Maybe some already have it, how it is compared with 800? 40 cm2 just difference, can be some essential difference between them in general?

800 wing is meant for kite fuselages. It doesn’t fit 749/710/700
