Thanks, while I have your attention; what is the slingshot aluminum mast to Moses fuselage that is shown in the picture?
If you also own the 82cm Moses carbon mast; which is stiffer; the Moses 82 or the slingshot?
Thanks again, Geron

It’s a standard 647 fuselage for kite wings. 680 would work too.
Any Slingshot Hoverglide aluminum mast with an adapter would work with Moses fuselages.
I haven’t seen the 82cm carbon Slingshot mast, it’s only Moses 82 which has been released and I have one. I’d say (and other riders report) that 82 mast is stiffer than 71 or 91cm

Yes, thanks I meant the 82cm Moses carbon mast compared to a Slingshot aluminum mast, which one would you think is stronger (stiffer)? I am using the m1000 wing with the kite fuselage

Absolutely the aluminum mast would be stiffer but I don’t think many would feel difference in stiffness. Yet the weight difference is significant
Moses 82cm mast 3.16 lbs
Slingshot 80cm mast (30”+adapter) 5.46 lbs

Thanks, I weigh 85 kg and the water here is very disturbed. I feel the M1000 has a lot of leverage and is very sensitive. I just wonder which might be better but don't know (like you say) if I will notice any difference between the two. I have noticed that straps have made it easier as I have more leverage myself? (I have a small 1m board and a kite)

I weigh 210 lbs and I ride 800 wing on 101 mast and 96cm board. The 800 gets disturbed in unorganized currenty waves, the 695 feels better there.
Yet, speaking of mast, I’m sure the aluminum would be the stiffest in waves

Would you be able to give a comparison of the ride of the Moses 82 mast and the 30” Slingshot mast+adapter? ( I’m riding Moses foils with Slingshot masts.)
Or more to the point, do you notice any difference, especially at reasonable speed?

I was lucky not to need to use the 82cm yet. I used 80cm once last spring. At my last trips to OBX the 91cm worked fine. So the 82cm is still brand new and I’m thinking about selling both 80cm aluminum and 82cm carbon masts.
Unless I go to South Padre where shorter masts are a must.
I think I should sell one of them at least
