Hey, so what’s the fastest wing I can get for my aluminum Moses set (which has been great)? I have W679 but wondering if there is something faster available to fit that surf fuselage (similar to 710 I believe).

The new Slingshot stuff looks cool. Looks like you could have 3 very different kite foil wings with the same mast and fuselage. But, I promised myself I would learn to tack before spending 3,000 on new stuff haha.
With “surf fuselage to kite wing” adapter you can put any Moses kite race wing or kite wing of kite race wings are way too small for you.
Without adapter you can use Moses 699 or 720, Slingshot Phantasm 657 or 730 - these are the fastest wings fitting your existing fuselage depending on how small wing you’d like.

Check my pre-kraken compatibility list here
viewtopic.php?p=1075851#p1075851

I have one adapter and following wings for sale if you’d like.
- 730 cm² wing (larger/thicker than 590 - my favorite freeride wing for my 210 lbs)
- Moses 800 wing (840 cm², faster)
- Moses 590 wing (-650 cm², fastest)

PM if interested in adapter or adapter plus a wing, I’ll be glad to get you a smaller setup to ride on your 710 fuselage

Thanks! That’s awesome news! I had no idea… kite adapters, Slingshot wings?! Wow, so my gear is not obsolete, that’s great!

The below video compares the difference in bending stiffness between all the different SABfoil masts. Including the new 73PK as well as the older masts.

Funny that pre-kraken mast is stiffer

Moses 75 aluminium was way more rigid...bit more heavy but rigid and stronger.

Yes, it seems that the 72C mast is stiffest, except from the Kraken 73PK mast with all bolts and QR pin attached.

Opinions pls. Currently kiting the 590/330 on 101 mast. Love it. Fast, agile, super fun. But on big swell days I outrun the swell. Is there a Sabfoil kite setup that would equal what I have but that would surf better? I know. Asking for a lot here. I'm only 148 lb (67 kg).

I like the question and I have an answer

My progression/preferences went this way
2015: MHL Lift 2013 ~800 cm²
2017: 545 (Moses 558) -> 548
2018: 590 + 633
2019: 683s (679) and rarely 590
2020: 695 and rarely 679. -> 800
2021: 800 -> 730 + 1200
2022: 730 + 1200

I‘ve been playing with my “need for speed” race wings in last two years too for occasional adrenalin boost. 637 -> 600

In 2020 I got too annoyed by need of keeping/carrying two fuselages and decided to stick to kite fuselage only and been on it since, happily

- Moses 800 wing. Higher aspect 840 cm² wing with amazing glide and roll stability. Would go pretty fast if you want and has decent lowend too. Fits kite fuselage.

- 730 cm² wing. “A 590 after winter of porters - larger and thicker” as my friend described it. Great lowend being thicker yet comparable to Moses 800, delivers some good speeds and is way more freeride friendly than 590 and more fun than 633. Fits kite fuselage

- 1200 cm² wing. Comparable area to Moses 633, yet fits kite fuselage which is lighter and allows to switch freeride and lightwind wings without need to have another fuselage.

- 310 cm² surf stabilizer. Similar area to Moses 483/450, yet it’s thinner - producing less drag, has winglets (which help yaw stability) pointed up so you don’t scratch sand/rocks with them, and unlike 450 doesn’t need any shimming. Will fit surf and kite fuselages and is kind of a “pacifier” for overly twitchy foil
