70 kg. (155 lb.) rider here, learning with 633/483 and 61 cm. (24 in.) Slingshot alu mast on a 156 cm. (5' 1") board and LEIs.
I´ve had 8 sessions so far and can ride pretty long distances upwind and downwind when is flat. Small S turns and now starting to try heels to toes tack.
But most spots here are quite choppy and I find that the short mast is making me fall when I hit crests or the wing breaches if I try to ride over them. I figure out that it´s time to get a longer mast, isn´t it?
Should I go for Sabfoil 82 or for 91/92 at this moment?
91/92. Longer mast will make your life much easier, especially in chop. Less wave crest touchdowns, much more stable due to larger part being in water.
You will never go back to the short mast.

What about foil pumping?
How is the 82 better than 91/92 for pure pumping since less mast under water the better

What's the best Moses SABfoil and mast length for big air boosting?
I assume this answer depends on lots of factors such as skill level, wave/ chop size... but assuming medium size waves and chop and intermediate/advanced skill level...
My assumption is that something fast, but easy to control will be best , like the W590.. on a 101cm mast?

My 730-1200 kitefoil and freshly arrived 1700 sq.cm winging wings (paired with surf 310 sq.cm stabilizer). I couldn’t stop myself from asking for pretty orange fuselages and I got them

My 730 freeride and 1200 sq.cm lightwind wings with 425 stabilizer on kite fuselage and 101cm mast. It’s been pretty enchanting to ride those.
Needless to emphasize the original 425 stabilizer is the best stabilizer I’ve ever ridden

You rate S425 over S400 ? Been wondering if S400 would be looser as no wingtips (kiting with W800, riding a bit of ocean chop).

I’m not a big fan of semi/flat stabilizers like 400/370/new425/325/273. Some like them for ability to spin on a wave but I prefer yaw stability which winglets bring.
Also 425 seems to be the largest of race stabilizers and I like extra stabilizer area as well

Does anybody know what is the distance between the two M6 screws of the Moses-Sab carbon masts? I am thinking of the M92 (but I think this is a standard measure for all?)
Thanks
