Ok so I've convinced myself it's finally time to update my foil equipment but really have no clue which way to go and the lack of ability to demo has me cautious on which way to go.
Find someone to give you a demo of the Triton T1. Only problem is the compatibility with the Project Cedrus mast is not awesome. You can get an old Moses adapter, but that will give you M6 bolts and is not ideal. Or you can enlongate the front hole of the T1. I’ve talked with Kyle about making a T1-specific adapter but haven’t ponied up the money to pay for a new adapter design. At the moment I also have the Triton mast until I figure out a PC solution. You would be able to keep riding your current Moses mast with the T1 so you at least have options, too.
+1 on that. I am using the PC mast with Triton T1. For me solid enough. Not doing jumps on strapless board. I had to elongated front hole to make it fit.

Stinos
Part of me wants to just do that, but I also have the Triton mast with the extra prong into the hole doohickey and I want to do some small jumps so I’m hesitant to elongate the hole. I’m more concerned that if I do modify it then when I use the Triton mast the extra doohickey will somehow cause some extra torque in the shortened space. Probably would not matter but I’m not an engineer.

by the way what is the price range for Cedrus classic mast say 93cm, I can't see prices on their site at the moment Image
Was told they don't do the old mast in 93 anymore. I have a couple demos being shipped to me now. How important is the m8? I've been thinking about finally mounting some straps and start jumping in the flat water days. Only thing I miss from twintipping.

Hey grigorib. Just wanted to make sure in your previous response to me that I should try the 730 with the 310. Right?

Yes. It’ll be pretty awesome combination.
Do you have anyone traveling soon, someone who can get them to you?

No, I meant RDB 730 which mounts onto kite fuselage.
The Moses 730 mounts onto surf fuselage and I believe those are a bit too heavy for kitefoiling

Do you guys take the clear coat of your wings and masts by sanding? I do not ride that fast (Slingshot UFO with W800+679) but sometimes when doing 360s or in very choppy ocean I feel the foil is affected a lot by the water conditions and sometimes gurgles, I wonder if going for the "racier" finish (water wetting the surface instead of pearling) might improve this?

I saw some people did that. Some of my wings and stabilizers were repaired and got lightly sanded after but I don’t feel the difference. I only sanded trailing edges if a wing or stabilizer sings
