New design is a bold claim which will lead many to look around and reconsider which gear to proceed with, since compatibility is gone ..
Agreed. Sabfoil may lose some of us. I will certainly look at other lighter options next time I upgrade.

As I stated before…
Buying fragile flexy carbon with the weight of aluminium…
I would have stayed with my F-One Mirrage.
At least it is carbon wings and fuselage.
What good is a carbon Shell Ferrari with a lead chassis.

I’ve seen completely broken off F-One wing by means of broken off fuselage. Off. There goes carbon fuselage.
Also saw broken off Lift stabilizer. Completely gone. Broken carbon fuselage.
Now I’m not sure I want carbon fuselage. My aluminum ones are pretty light

Count me in as another one ready to step off this brands revolving platform. I'm not sure if SABfoil's new offering really addresses all the issues I have personally experienced with their surf mast/fuse such as severe fuselage corrosion, blistering/failing clear coat on masts and now the mast shearing along centerline. The reliability of the added complexity and additional mixed materials in their new offering will certainly need to be proven out over time, but likely by someone other than me.

I never had problems with Moses quality - it’s been an amazing journey to try and ride some of the best of Moses products and from my view - the best platform over years. For me - happily since 2017 - 545(558)/548/590/633/683s/695/720/637/679/800/1000 wings, 42”/71/91/80/111/101 masts, 328(330)/325/330/483/450/420/450/421/425 stabilizers, standard 680/749/647/710 and some custom fuselages and some more compatible gear….1200/730/860/600, 273/230/310, 70/90

Ended up with two main masts - short for shallows and long for deep water, three wings - regular, lightwind and race, couple of stabilizers - regular and lowend. One fuselage fits all.
I’m loving it and getting into winging on same platform now

I’ve had plenty of suggestions and reservations to design, interchangeability, lack of wings which _I_ personally want, the occasional confusion on weight or other data - but the gear worked perfectly for me.
Still riding 101cm mast, 647 fuselage and the very best original 425 stabilizer and plan on staying with it for few more years

I must admit to being completely lost now. The new system seems to have ditched the 683 / 483 option which I have been thinking about getting for a while but never gotten around to. No idea what I should get now, if anything. I would be new to foiling but experienced kiter. There is just too much option out there when it comes to foils. In principle I like the idea of a modular system though. Seems a sensible idea.

You probably have in mind 683s. The 683 is a completely different incompatible with surf fuselages windsurf wing.
679 replaced 683s and is an identical to 683s, besides different numbers printed.
799 seem to be a better, more modern alternative to 679.
As of stabilizers - I’d let folks suggest which one of current SABfoil stabilizers would work for you the best.

New system is only messing up with masts and fuselages - old wings and stabilizers will still fit it.

How much do you weigh?

633 is way too big of a wing for 66 kilos and is going to feel slow and boring. If you can find 695 - you’d love it with a race stabilizer and it comes on a light 647 fuselage.
Try to avoid surf fuselage setup altogether as they’re extra heavy and bring zero benefits. Up to 1200 sq.cm wings can perfectly be mounted on kite fuselage.

Leaked call on YouTube explains the additional 800 grams of weight in Kraken system went exclusively into anodization layer. Riders complain way too much and company decided to put an end once for all to corrosion. 7mm of anodized layer can stop a bullet, not to talk about some silly salt
