Does anyone know the differences between the race stabilizers (420, 425 and 421) and their effect on mast position? I am using the 425 with my 695 and have to position the foil almost all the way forward in the tracks. Just wondering if the 421 will allow it to be a little further back.

Yes! It is insanely good! I made a lot of progress on this foil and I can now tack and jibe all up on the foil. Also the setup is really light so corrections on the board while doing transitions are really easy.

Guys i am planning to purchase new foil.. looking at the moses 633... is this a good one for light to mid (10 to 20 knots )winds or would you suggest something else??? I am 63kg... i use my foil mostly for freeriding... not crazy about racing... or should i consider taking 679???
also should i get carbon mast or just go with alu and save some money.. is there a big difference?
Please advise

Hi Lamza,
At your weight you should consider the 679, although the 633 will also work great for you. the 633 will give you more lowend and will be easier to learn manuvers with as it is more stable and has a lower stall speed.
The Alu 75 Setup weighs 800 grams more than the 91cm carbon, but is a lot stiffer. You really have to weigh up what is more important to you. Performance or lightenss.

For your weight I’d suggest the 679. Carbon and aluminum mast ride similarly except if you go crazy on the foil the carbon is less stiff. Aluminum is heavy to carry and fly with, yet you save some $500 compared to carbon. Aluminum is even more affordable if you want to have a short+long mast pair. If you buy Moses aluminum mast you will need Moses surf fuselage for aluminum masts which is not compatible with carbon masts. Or you can get aluminum mast with adapter and use regular fuselage.
To compare
Moses 82cm mast 3.16 lbs $790
Slingshot 30” mast with adapter (80cm) 5.47 lbs $260

You're talking about the 670/421 - with 106mast here? I was thinking about getting that wingset when/if they release that wing for normal kite fuselage, the "671" Ive read about it here at the forum but not seen at the moses website yet.
however im using the original mast 101, im thinking that its a bit short for such a wide wing, maybe. Is it forgiving if you breach the tips/ ride the wing slightly in the water surface?
The other option would be too get the 637 used wich would be a cheap option. but i guess that the new 670/671 wing is a big improvement compared to 637.

Yes the combo 670/421 with 106 mast. I do not know about the 671 wing.
I made in the last seven sessions on the 670/421 - 106 way more progress then on the 637 (Comet). If this has to do only with the new foil I do not know, it was 5 months back that I rode the Comet for the last time... But alot of people say that the new one is much better.

Looks like this is the first IKA approved foil for the 2020-2024 Olympic cycle.

Was there any wait to get it? Many of the other race foils have long wait times.
From the pictures on the Moses website, it seems that the front wing is bolted to the top of the fuselage. Is that the case? All other recent race foils I've seen have the front wing, fuselage, and stabilizer as one piece to get the smoothest setup possible. Moses has always been into interchangeable components though.
I'd be interested to hear if anyone else has been able to compare it to the other top race foils.

Any plans on a stiffer 90ish cm mast? I'm thinking about getting the 82cm but I really don't want to go shorter.
