kraken masts are guaranteed unbreakable, all of them,
so boosting without the worry
Not according to sabfoil 103 product page:
" Microfractures on the mast caused by accidental collisions or by freestyle use of this race-specific product can cause the mast to break suddenly. For this reason, we recommend avoiding jumps and checking the mast carefully after a collision "

I might want to start jumping on my foil setup, w800 (possible smaller soon), 82 mast. But I read some masts breaking.
Do you guys know which setups are safe for jumping with kite?
I jump my 679 wing every time and nothing bad happened. I also just use my Ozone Enduros with it and they aren't kites that give you a particularly soft landing.
But it is paired with a wing setup, so I don't know if the kite setup is more fragile.

yes 799 glides better than 790
Can you (or anyone) compare the stall speed between the w790 and w799 wing?

Theoretically 790 will have much lower stall speed being an old outdated thick low aspect and much larger wing. Even 899 is much smaller. Also depends on your weight and what you’re trying to ride it with and how low you want to be able to go

I weigh 85 kg, the range would be 5/7 knots, I already manage to ride in that range but super slow, I was wondering if a more modern wing would give me more speed and the lift needed to do the gybes with little kite power....
Also a wing with a lot of lift and glide I could use with the peak5 4mts in waves and have a wing that will work for low wind and waves....

790 is a big fat slow wing. 799 will probably have higher lowend and will be more faster and more roll stable.

I own both wings: The 790 has a marginally better low end, it is a bit slower and less roll stable than the 799, which has a looooong glide.
The characteristics also depend on the stabiliser you are using, the 450 on the 790 makes it slow and easy, but you can change to smaller ones.
The main difference between the wings is the lift: The 799 has a very aggressive lift, its either all or nothing. You need a lot of front foot pressure... The 790 has a pleasant, gradual lift and when too slow, it lands softly on the water surface.
Overall, the 790 is easier to ride, the 799 is a bit more aggressive and has better glide. Both wings can be tuned by changing stabs. For easy free ride on 790, use it with the 450. The 799 with the 399 is very skatey, a bit more stable with the 430. The 483 also works but you loose turning ability.
I hope this helps!
