Besides Gunnar does anyone have any impression about W1250 or w945?

I have had the W950 but sold it because I mostly wing at sea (waves)
Now I'm using the W945, W940 and W800

Here my (winging) comparison of the 945 and 950
Im 75 kg

W945---------------------------------------------------------------------------W950
loose, easy to switch to different sides----------------------------------carving (when in a curve, its stays in a curve)
no-ventilation----------------------------------------------------------------ventilation (lot) in waves
low take off speed----------------------------------------------------------higher take off speed
take off gradually-----------------------------------------------------------take off yes/no
moderate speed-------------------------------------------------------------higher speed, but not for speed riding
less stable, but stable enough for one used to foil--------------------very stable
good for swell/waves------------------------------------------------------ good for flat water
waves max 7 ft because of speed limit/front pressure---------------easy swell or non steep waves
pumping ok (in waves)-----------------------------------------------------easy to pump, build up speed
good for beginner because of easy take off and low end-------------good for beginner when having enough wind because its very stable and stays in a curve, needs more speed

Does anyone else have issues with a loose mast to fuselage connection with M92 and FK647?

With no screws in, if I put the fuselage on the mast, it tilts freely and falls off if I don't hold it. Pushing it down with force does not help much (it stills comes off with a light finger push). Is it this loose for everyone else?

If I put screws+washers in, go out for a session and come back, the connection still seems firm but I believe the fuselage has shifted. The reason is that the screws now come out with difficulty and seem to twist. If I look inside the fuselage screw holes, I can see traces of the screw threads, so I think the screws are rubbing against the tilted fuselage...

On the opposite, if you buy the new f700hs to use with your actual w1100 w873 w790 w720 w683 w679 w633 to add strength to the impacts due to bad landings or rotations , you can do it by simply drilling the actual 6mm holes on these wings with a 8mm drill bit and enlarge with a countersink bit to adapt the hole to the 8mm screw head
Can anyone advise me on the best type of vise to do this kind of work, or any will do? I don't have a workshop and will need to buy some sort of vise to secure the wing, but am not sure which one to get.

I suggest not using vise at all - a drill press would help with positioning the drill vertically or I’d rather use hand-held vice for the drill bit and slowly do it by hand

Yeah it was actually easier than I thought, using my knee and a step, no vise required.

I have used it once, winging with the 945. The combo is great for (small) surfing, very loose in yaw.

70 kg. (155 lb.) rider here, learning with 633/483 and 61 cm. (24 in.) Slingshot alu mast on a 156 cm. (5' 1") board and LEIs.

I´ve had 8 sessions so far and can ride pretty long distances upwind and downwind when is flat. Small S turns and now starting to try heels to toes gybe.

But most spots here are quite choppy and I find that the short mast is making me fall when I hit crests or the wing breaches if I try to ride over them. I figure out that it´s time to get a longer mast, isn´t it?

Should I go for Sabfoil 82 or for 91/92 at this moment?
