got my 92 mast today and it's 2414 gr
Heavier than wood core 111 race mast! Is it carbon wrapped aluminum core?
It is that point in time when manufacturers focus so much on winging/surf/windsurf just left kiters behind?

This is my feeling as well, allot of new surf wings available but not much in the kite side.

That is great news, wonder what is up with the 3 kg one.
Any chance you would give a little review of the mast? Or just a few pictures?
Thanks.

A quick report on one more RDB wing I’ve been riding. The 860 sq.cm wing has very nice, higher cruising speed, has decent area to go slow and most important reason I got it - it has swept back LE which I needed so bad for seaweed infested waters of OBX.
The sensation of catching seaweed on the wing is comparable to catching a dead deer on the road and dragging it under the truck. Lift vanishes, back foot pressure skyrockets and you gotta stop every other tack to shed the damn seaweeds off. If you go foil soundside OBX in days following strong winds that churn the waters and if your wing has straight LE - you won’t be happy.
Swept back wings like 633/683s/679/H4 and the 860 experiencing this problem to much lesser grade. Yet all of these except 860 mount on heavier surf (or aluminum block in case of H4) fuselage and for kitefoiling a light and universal kite fuselage is my choice.
The 860 wing requires moving the mast 15mm forward compared to kitefoil wings like 800/695/730/590 to maintain same foot position.
The 860 is a bit on a heavier side alike RDB 600 sq.cm race wing - there’s just more carbon in it and core must be heavier too.
Yet an awesome wing to have

And to repeat what has been said endless times:
bring back rhe 425 and introduce its larger version (yet thinner than 483/450) for huge wings. Those would be two major stabilizers ever needed
yes man. you are right. Jimmie, do 425 again. Please
is there anyone who could reproduce it?

Any news on the new 950? Is it 1450 or 1650 cm2?
So, up to recently the sabfoil website was showing 1600cm2 as the surface area for the 950.
Today the site is showing 1350cm2.
What are those guys smoking?

Hi all,
The Moses 91 mast is now marketed for youth racing. As such it has 2 large white “stickers” on it with the class compliance info.
I’m long past being a youth and rather dislike the big white patches on a otherwise black mast. Dose anyone know if these are actually stickers and can just be pulled off without cosmetic damage? Or are they under the clear coat?
Thanks.

No idea about whether the stickers can be removed, but it does seem very strange that Moses/SAB haven't continued a standard 91cm mast!!?
