@Grigorib and @dave1986

Really appreciate the consolidation of the information. I can measure the profile thickness of the 590 and a 633 if you dont already have that info. I thikn some of the foils were from earlier than 2018.

I am also interested in the updates to the masts. Why a 72 to replace the 71? They look like they have a different outline? Less tapered maybe. Do we know anything about the profiles?

@Smartarse88: If you measure the profile thickness I will add it to the list.

And also let me know if the year is incorrect and I will update

Moses front wings list

Moses.jpg
As of years - as far as I recall - 558 and 550 are 2016 wings, 548 is 2017, 590/633/683s were released in November 2017 as 2018 wings, 790 was released in late 2018 as 2019 wing. 873 is a 2019 wing. If you’re really set on this project look up 2016-2018 Moses brochures pdf files - they will shed more light on old wings

As of thickness 558/550 are 12mm, 548/580 15mm, 683s 20mm, 633 25mm, 790 30mm. Those are somewhat approximate, not all these were published officially.

Seems that Moses just did new versions of their topic wings 550, 590, 633 and 683s :) simple overplay of CAD files :) sad that they not release something more experimental and new in shapes and etc. seems the same story as with Apple iphones, catched right moment and than no big innovations for 5years. If Moses will stall on their few wings success (as it clearly shows this 2020 line) than after few year will come substantial decline of course. Why they not released experimental monofo withn where from one material molded front and stab in one wing ? We see that this form works best for monofoil. Of course its better to release 3 single parts instead one :)

So the wing which is flying up will hang on 3 bolts instead of being fixed in place by 3 bolts and push onto fuselage?
This design allows a cleaner upper surface (extrados) of the front wing.

It's clever because performance-wise this surface is more important than the lower surface (intrados).

If the bolts are well tightenned, I don't see any structural issue.

I should receive the new race foil soon and I'll give you my feeling compared to my ML.

Speaking of Apple - Apple on purpose didn't put front camera on first iPad, they on purpose were holding back IP-calling apps, and they yet to release (next year?) usb-c - equipped iPhones. What an innovation, right?
Well....I still use them, just paid $265 for my new iPhone 11 - it'll do for next two years :)

There could be universal kite/surf/SUP fuselage accommodating wings from 500-2000 sq.cm. After all it's not surfing and SUPing which rocked 633 to be probably most demanded wing of 2018-2019. At least guys could adapt few large wings to be mountable on kite fuselage.
Which finally came in form of 675/718/800/900/1000 wings.
What I'm still missing in those is more-swept-back-LE wings as riding OBX and catching all the damn strains of seaweed and having to stop to shed them off ruins fun.

Speaking of monofoils (not stabless) - i think they're quite bulky for travel but if Moses made a better universal carbon stabilizer, as a single piece with wood/carbon fuselage - it'd be good idea but we all know that there's a little mess in Moses stabilizer department. 450 fixed issue of easy-to-ruin wingtips of 483 but increased front foot pressure. Moses still sells "good old" 325 (which some claimed to be better than 330) but if 325/330 are replaced with larger stabilizer it would improve lightwindability of a setup.
I believe there could be single, better than 325/330/483/450 universal stabilizer - thin with ~300 sq.cm area, with winglets up and I'm sure it can do great for both small and large wings.

@Grigorib and @dave1986
...
I am also interested in the updates to the masts. Why a 72 to replace the 71? They look like they have a different outline?..
Moses owns the equipment to make moulds so they can make many at low cost, playing in CAD is fun and people would buy new models just to ride new gear.

41/61/71/72/82/91/101/111 line is a bit excessive, but 91/101/111 are just too classy sizes to mess with.

If I had to call for a minimalistic balanced line of masts I'd say 150mm difference would land something like 66/81/96/111 set to manufacture and stock but again, since they own the equipment - 100mm gap allows to make and sell more.

The largest gap was in ~80cm mast length and I'm glad Moses covered the gap.

I probably will stick to 82/106 as a replacement of my current 80/91/106 set

Yes, I'm waiting for anti-seagrass wing. It's becoming a big problem up here.
As soon as I get my cnc going it's the first project.

I liked how 633 handled seaweed and I was tempted to give a try to Levitaz Cruizer for same reason. Hopefully Slingshot will come with a good line of swept-back wings and stabilizers or Moses will emphasize their focus to mass foil consumers - which are kitefoilers, instead of windsurf and surf foiling they seem to prioritize. And I can’t imagine kite foilers are not making most of their profit. Unless they consider 633 surf/sup wing and someone it telling investors how surf/sup line is amazingly successful.
