^^^^** Same for me for me except I can’t take 695 to OBX as it will collect all and shed none of seaweed floating there.

That’s when 679 will get handy
Good reason to keep the 683s around then!

I weigh 165lb and after spending the past month riding the 683s/483, 590/330 and 695/425 on my strapless board, my 590/330 is also for sale and the 683s might not be far behind!

I found that the 695/425 was my preferred wingset to ride of the three. It goes almost as slow as the 683s, almost as fast as the 590 and of the three it is the most stable in the roll axis. In addition, it feels like I don't get overpowered as fast when the wind picks up. Another side benefit is that the foil/board is lighter compared to with the 683s.
Have you (or anyone) tried the 590 with the 425 stab?

I tried 590 with 420 and it worked better than 590/330 and changed stance about 1.5” forward. 425 would do even better

what would change with 633 if I switched from 483 to 450 stab, please? Some people recommend that but what’s the effect?

Stance comes forward by 2” (I had to shim stabilizer up to reverse this effect). Better lowend, which is hard to define since surf wings can already almost stop without stalling.
Also 450 has winglets pointed up and that prevents stabilizer tips damage and that's a big deal for me.

I didn't feel any difference. Both 483 and 450 stabilizers are thicker than kite stabilizers and ride similarly.
I liked the winglets pointed up on 450 but didn't like the need to shim it to get back to same feet/mast position. 450 is also heavier than 483

I have the 450 stab combined with the 633 and resisted shimming for some time.
However, in the end, I popped a washer under the rear bolt so I could comfortably put my rear foot over / slightly behind the mast. Rides better shimmed I think (so far!), but it feels wrong when I look at it

For some time opening and modifying 2.5cc engines when I was a kid was a heresy for me. The moment I was shown manufacturing/design gaps I couldn’t even think of flying one out of box again. The benefits of knowledge :)

You can use a credit card to cut out a pretty washer and sand it down so it appears better and looks like a pretty shim.

Does anyone mounted 420 or 425 stabilizer on Onda 633 surf fuselage ? Compatible it ?
