Has anybody tried the Large wing in combination with the small rear stabiliser?

I havent on this one, but on many other brands and wings, so would probably be the very best setup for the experienced rider in waves, much more lively and fun, no doubt :thumb:

That is the only way I have tried my L as I was informed by someone that helped in the design that this was their favorite set up for prone. The M wing is great for bigger waves.

For SUP only in small waves, I'd think L front & L or S stab.

Kite only, I'd go Small on both.

i use the Large wing for kiting...with large rear too. will report back after trying with small rear, but haven't tried it yet. I use the 80cm mast only. This setup allows me out in even lighter winds, but it can be harder to handle if it picks up. I'm amazed how slow i can go and stay up, which really helps in the transitions if i lose kite power. A bit more front foot pressure is needed than with my LF Impulse wing, but it's not a problem at all. if you're a speed demon, this ain't for you. i prefer control over speed.

had the large wing and small stabilizer combo out today, though it was really too windy to be using the large wing. my impression is that the foil turned better and overall had a looser feel. maybe a bit squirrely but not unmanageable. i'll probably stick with it (large front, small back) once we get some lighter winds.

Had the large wing and small stabilizer combo out yesterday. I had a hard time with the pitch control.

I think the Large wing + small stab is only to be used for kiting in the lightest winds (max 10-12 knots).
However, this combo has amazing lift & agility in small waves for prone/sup.

It doesn't matter how much wind, use the small stab of you want a more lively foil :thumb:

FYI: A 70cm carbon mast will be available in May. It'll cut 2.5 pounds off.

But why only 70cm ? Why not normal as 80 or 90 cm ? After half a year their will release it longer and everyone must buy again as addition. Sad.
