@ok kiteboarden...thx man..I haven't tried all of your tips yet...still waiting for the first chance to go out on my brand-new foil. Your stories seem to make sense. I'll let you know whether they really do.

If anyone has money laying around buy a Onewheel pint or XR you will never ever regret it have over 900km since start of July best thing have ever bought for land use
can't explain the feeling every time u ride it's almost better then foiling

I think you've confused the result with reason. The reason you're feeling pressure on your toes or heels is that you've shifted your CoG over them ... and that is the most important skill.

i'm actually thinking...
if i were doing this again...
i'd learn on learn kite control #1.
...but then completely skip learning to ride on a twin tip (and surfboard)
there is no point nowadays (i'd always keep surfboard...to surf)
i believe a big chunk of my time(and crashes) learning to foil was due to having to retrain muscles accustomed to riding twintips
