Groove Skate foilboard, durability and build quality

there has been a valid discussion on this subject of leaving black surfaces of any kiteboard out in the blazing hot sun which can lead to the sort of delamination mentioned above, although its something I have yet to witness myself.
Even in the cooler months the sun in certain holiday locations is extremely strong, and this you have to be aware of if you have any black surfaces, not just the board but masts and even kites, and joking apart even a black T shirt can get too hot when carrying your gear to the beach, and to take it further I try to avoid a black shorty wet suit as that can get too hot when standing around yapping.
As I spend lots of time out on Fuerterventura in the off months I try to keep all my black bits covered up when travelling, firstly to the beach in the car as it gets silly hot in the car if you leave it parked up in the sun for any length of time, 40c inside the car last week when parked up on the road at Flag beach, so hot I had to leave the doors open for a while to allow the black seats to cool down,
I carry my gear down to the waters edge in all its covers, and try to keep my kiteboard and mast shaded under a inflated kite, even last week when I came in for a few hours sun bathing session I placed my light blue wet suit and crash jacket over any exposed black carbon.
back in the UK now, so no such problems.
if it was a problem with the groove then it would have been known about at Flag beach as this place has more groove skates being used than any other brand as Gunnar sails there and sells them to the locals and others like me who use the beach a lot, and the locals get out in the blazing hot summer months.

A local kiter has a Levitaz board that got same problem got to hot most likely and now has water inside was sitting in sun could see the water bubbling out of cracks near where water was under board..

None that I have seen or heard of.
They have got better at communications now, I have a string of e mails discussing my new board and its spec including little extras and details I want, and they have replied the next day, it seems like he has taken on a few staff who answer e mails and help keep the main man just doing what he does best, that's making the boards, he is a one man operation with only a few others dealing with the work around him, I was told he prefers this as then he has full control on the build process and quality, as he is the only one who actually build the boards and then as he says he knows how each board has been put together and can put his name to each and every board, the only downside to this is the time it can take to get your board, my new gold stripe full carbon 120cm has had a 30-40 day delivery time attached, and that's at this time of year, I just hope the guys who race the groove boards don't jump the queue to have work done.
the lowest wait time was a Swiss guy I know who went to pick up his skate after only 3 weeks build time, that was before Christmas,
One thing that surprised me was he only asks for the payment just before shipping, no deposit, I did offer but that's how they do business.

I ordered mine on January 14 and they sent the carbon naked 120cm Februari 11 to me. Sooner as I aspected.

after posting my report above I have found out that my red stripe carbon board is the more expensive full carbon version, now priced at £970 x shipping,
it turns out I ordered mine before the recent price increase.
The standard carbon painted boards come out at £850 x delivery.
but what price can you put on works of art!

But, I’ve noticed the middle area might be delaminating within. It seems to be able to be compressed about 3mm and returns (rebounds) immediately. Also, I’ve noticed it retains a bit of water after a session. It drains out over short time period.

Now I’m worried it may fail, leading to loss of foil. I’ve never jumped this board and there have not been any impacts/trauma events. I’ve ridden it since May.

Any one else notice anything similar?

Gunnar, have you seen any failures?

Not yet. All mine and those of my customers have held up very well. But if Salvinos board is delaming, he should contact Groove and see what they say about it.

Anyone has tested Goove skate L? I don't know which one get M or L. I have a 1.30 cm carbon board with no volume I am very happy.
