Interesting. I’ve got different results:
590/647/330 1315g
Old 633/749/483 2180g
New 633/749/483 1815g
Interesting. My 683S then is closer to "old" 633. While I'd like it to be lighter, maybe the heavier weight will me it sinks and the foil floats mast down instead of on it's side, which I'd prefer. I haven't put it in the water yet.
did you get your 683s direct from Italy, or from old stock held at a local retailer maybe?
my new one is coming direct from Moses Italy

Mine was shipped from a Moses distributor in California. I'm not sure how long it had been there.

All-up wight of this configuration is 6015g. Hopefully it floats foil-down in the water.

Do you know weight of 683s wing please?
I weighed all my stuff for comparison:

Front Wings

683S: 950g
BLIMEY, I weighed my 683 wing that was delivered instead of the correct 683s,
it only weighed 665g.
my 683s is "winging" its way to me right now so will weigh that as soon as it arrives.
I have had 683 Freeride, 71cm mast for about a week.
It came from a Moses Australian distributor.
Just weighed the front wing on accurate kitchen scales which showed 645gm

But when I step out on my porch...

Looks a little cold to go down and get in the water. How long until spring?
10th and cascade?

That's a beautiful set up! Italian quality and engineering at its best! Way cheaper than a Lamborghini!

I'm still curious why the 683s instead of 633. ( I have wing envy)

We are up here at 55N. Been having great winter. Down to 2+2C.
Xcel drylock 6-5 with integrated hood, 7mm drylock boots, 3mm nookie gloves, Np edge windshirt top under. ION floatation vest.
I'm totally warm. The gear has improved greatly in last 10 years.

Two main reasons I bought the 683 instead of the 633: one is I wanted something faster, closer in performance to my 590, but more forgiving for learning maneuvers on.

Second is that a lot of local riders are riding the Slingshot version of the 633 which makes it easy to borrow and try, or buy locally, since we have a Slingshot dealer locally, but no Moses dealer. As far as I know, I currently have the only 683S in Hood River. If I want to add a 633 later, it's easy to get here.

Today was the first day in the water trying out the new gear! Water is now at 40F/4.5C, and air was 59F/15C. Wind was a solid 16-18 knots with gusts into the 20s and I was a bit overpowered on a 9m.

There is no water too cold to kite with current wetsuits and gear. Just make sure no ice and you stay close enough for an easy swim.
