The water restart of the Alpha 10m in marginal wind is remarkably good. At 7/8 knp wind just pull both steering lines and the kite rises from the water. The AR Ultra can't do this.
Flutter is not worse then most 3 -struts.

Not that the 5 knots are real in the video, but it is definitely not much wind?

My buddy was on a Ultra 10m and couldn't relauch his kite. But for the Alpha wasn't it any problem.

Unfortunately, unless you tried to relaunch his 10m in similar conditions (preferably the same day) its not a reliable test as we don't know if your buddy is good or bad at light wind relaunch (its a skill). Its a bit like the kite comparisons where people say - 'The new 'blah' kite is really powerful, I was on my 10m when other people were on their 17m kites'. There are just too many variables to make a meaningful comparison.
For balance I have seen the AR Ultra relaunch in 7/8 knots without needing to reverse launch (though I can't guarantee he didn't get a 1-2knot extra gust as he was 100m away from me at the time)
Sounds like the Alpha relaunches right up there with the best of them though!
This video is very old, but this should be doable with nearly any kite in ultra light which has a low V? Sadly with my Core Nexus it will not work, because of the ssfs core "invented".

Oh ,please . I can reverse launch an Airush Ultra no problem.

Same size Ultra 10m at the same moment didn't want to launch.
