Kristin is a multiple kiting World Champion, but said that the wing is easier than a kite for doing what she was doing in the instagram.
It will probably only be suitable for foiling downwind (usually on wind driven swell or waves) using mostly wave power and then using the wing to foil back upwind to catch the next wave.

I think it looks like holding a bar with a kite would be better but this product would allow for noobs to try it without the need for lessons.
It also allows for solo launches with zero space.
I would think your arms would fall off after 30 minutes though. I think a much better option would be a Flysurfer Peak4 on 3m lines (they also have like 3m of bridal).

There was a Waterwing version of the kitewing, and this is a video that shows how to waterstart it. The Waterwing was not a success. They made them up to 7m area, and the boards neeeded more power than a foil.
The Duotone wing seems to be for stronger winds (maybe enough wind to generate foilable waves?) and the prototypes were quoted as 2.5m area. The one in Tenerife seems to look more like a 'production' version of a prototype.
It does. My tennis elbow now seems to have recovered after about 5 months.
The Kitewing system seems to have been used a lot on ice and snow, but it seems to have a gripping/potential_harness system that would make tennis elbow less likely.
