Is this Sky and Airton trying it out in Medano Tenerife?

It looks like it's application is for foiling on wind-driven waves and downwinders?

Looks like they edited their original post after they were flamed for claiming they invented that wing contraption

Looks like it requires 20+ knots even when foiling.

looks like holding a bar with a kite attached would be easier.

Marketing trick to push more money. It was invented 30 years before. Nothing new. Not serious toy, you see how it mot comfortable riding with this wing. Any bar and kite will fly better.

I actually had a go on the same sot of thing back in the 80s, I tried to use it on the Airtec 2000 inflatable windsurf board, you know the one? invented by that air pilot guy back then.
there were around 10 of us having a good laugh on the thing.
none of us had any success, and we were all quite handy on windsurfers, but trying to control the rig was hard and gybing was silly impossible,
a very expensive toy that never caught on.
although there were a few playing on it on the River Gorge in the States.
