Wow, nice video above of Alan Cadiz.
This answers some of my questions.. he can gybe, he can tack, he can go upwind and he doesn't use a very large board.
The one thing he does seem to need is plenty of wind.
Anyway it looks fun.

Unparalleled maneuverability !!! Please, Would love to see how easy he gets up on foil using that rig and board. Somehow I doub't he pops straight to foil like this guy.
