Looks like early days - based on the harness line experiment. It might work better if there was an offset to the leading edge.

big foil wing, biiiiig volume board and small "kite"
I prefer the other way round. At this stage of development I cannot see anything that would make me going for it.
Definitely nothing for traveling at first sight

Looks like inside information leaking between brands mostly :)
And by the way is higer winds i think i needs kite leash to ne attached to this wing in case of fall and etc.

Small wingspan = small surface areas = low investment (TPU, spi, dacron).
IMHO, for DiYers, a reasonable level of difficulty before starting the construction of a kitesurf wing.
