Still curious and question-full on this point.
One friend of mine felt the opposite and found out that he could start earlier with the 1200 ... a good femaile light rider told me the same , while i trust Peter 100 % !!! Hum hum ... Both said the Kruizer was better for Long distance (stable,upwind) but both feels the 1200 flies earlier....

Maybe it is a sign that they are so close in term of lowest planing speed ?

Peter , have you tried recent back-to-back test ?
