I use it for winging in stronger winds (also have the 1100) and for kiting when it is worth it (I mostly use the 633)
For me it is not a matter of light wind potential as I only need a kite that pulls me out of the water. Once out of the water, the 633 gives me plenty of low end, no problem.
I use the 790 with my peaks when I want to ride the swell or waves, no matter the wind. You can just use the swell without the power of the kite (like on the wingding, except you still have some pull). I can't do that with the 633 being 100kg.
790 compared to 633: slower, lower stall speed, and everything you would expect from a large surf wing.
Cruising speed for me is 12-15 knots
I use the 790 with 450 stab and 633 with 425 stab. Both are very wel balanced this way.
Frankie boy, this is what I'm talking about. I do have a Peak4 5 m² and I already use a 1500cm² 65cm wingspan (Space Skate) for ride swell and knee low height waves. I do like my wing but I definitely wanna something with more glide. I'm 82kg and my intention is ride in 10 to 15knots.
HA = more speed and glide, long turns (swell)
Low AR = slower and better short turns (waves)
Sorry Frankieboy. I have to chime is there. It is not that simple, and those statements do not apply to the Moses wings. The W1000 has a much tighter turning radius and can be ridden more aggressively in waves than the lower AR wings. A lot of that comes from the shorter fuselage used for it.

There is a lot of comparing 633 and 790 speed-wise. On Moses/Sab site TOPSPEED:
W633: 7/10
W790: 8/10
Are the scales the same or what to believe? You stating 633 is faster or Sab site saying 790. I've both wings but I am not driving as fast as I can go so don't know about stabile/rideable topspeed.

It is just general statement and fuse length or stab can change things. But you must be right as you did use all these foils in all possible settings.
For me (s)lower AR wings are more suitable for carving in (breaking) waves and higher AR wing for downwinding (riding swell with more speed)
Maybe 950, 940 and other coming wings compatible with 710 fuselage will be the answer for them (I switched to Axis) without changing fuselage, stabs etc.

After a lot of videos and read about it, i decided to buy a 790 but my main concern right now which stabilizer should I get.
This 790 will be use 90% of the time for kitefoiling in waves ( 10 to 15 knots) and 10% for surf/Sup foil. 82kg
Peak4 5m²
Have never done surfoil but I will try, if it's cool I will buy a 1100.
I also have an eye on 679 for Kitefoil at high speeds.
Thinking in all this front wings maybe 483 will fit me better.

I really don't know 679 max speed, but I assume that this wing are faster than 633, and there are some videos showing a 633 at 45 km/h.
For me anything around 25 - 30km/h is perfect.

I use 450 with both the 790 (kite & wing) and the 1100 (wing). It is perfect to me. Some say the 483 would be faster, but I never tried it.
My son is riding the 679 with 330 and it is very nicelly balanced.
I use the 633 with 425 as 450 gave much too much lift with this front wing. The 633 is sold with 483 as a package. It rides (and feels) much slower then the 425 wich is a older race stab.
There are new stabs coming I think if you want something faster for the 790/1100.

Tomtom, do you like 790 for kitefoiling in waves?
What stabilizer do you use on 790?
