Finally tried 683S. It feels faster, but I didn't measure the speed. So far I think that 683S is more fun in flat water for the experienced rider and 633 is more fun in waves or not experienced rider.

Just finished session on 683s and still blown away such an amazing unit... wouldn't want anything less then a 101 mast... prior to this session had never tried foot switches and learned in 1 hour and at the end of session was 95% success on them :D also so fun to breach the tip of the foil on a big carve spray some water has no stability issues with breaches amazing unit thanks Moses :thumb:

Nice :D You riding strapless? What board do you have? I’m seriously considering this 683s on a 101 mast as an upgrade from the hoverglide.

it is amazing in the right conditions as you say.
today on my 7mtr well powered up and flat water,
also a fast turbulent tide was running, and the 683s just slices a fine line through the under water rough stuff,
the 633 is not that good in these conditions.
I did find today I had to move the mast forward around 5cm which made for a super smooth even balance.
the 633 position is not quite right for the 683s, for me anyways.

talking to friends who do hydrofoil competitions, everyone told me that to push hard the weight must be neutral in the legs and should be more on the back foot. stance of the feet very wide.
besides having opaque and perfectly clean surfaces.
what is the post of the column with the stern of the table, and where do you place the straps?

With more practice on this wingset, I've recorded a top speed of 24.3 knots (28mph, 45kph) on it on an extremely overpowered, almost out-of-control 10m Soul. However I've also recorded a comfortable and repeatable 23.3 knots over multiple passes in lightish (14 knots) winds over multiple passes on the same kite. I bet someone can hit 25 knots on it, but I'm still not sure it I can. Maybe I just need more skill.

two of us here chasing the 683s maximum speed, steve a few days ago topped 30knts /55kmph, however that was using 7mtr Ozone Chrono UL with wide foot stance, using all straps, 101 mast,130L groove skate, flatish water,
he said moving his back strap right to the back might get more speed as you need to be locked down and stance wide for control.
My speed same day was pants, I forgot my gps watch so stayed in the wavy section on my 633 instead,my small Chrono is on back order so I am sulking.short lines on foil kites will be faster with these wings i believe.

edit- after using short lines the next day i found shorter lines were not for me, very direct feeling, which made fine control at speed very unnerving.
