It can help a lot to reduce the noise if the hydrofoil sings.
It can, but mostly the singing comes from a "dirty" trailing edge. If your foil sings loudly, then fix the trailing edge first. There are lots of tutorials online on how to do this.

Hi.

These tutorials from George might help. I decided not to publish any tutorials on how to sand foils, as most people do/can not do it properly and do not take their time and will end up ruining their foil. As a car detailer you know that good sanding takes time and can't be rushed, and it also takes some practice to get good at it.

Here is how to sand your trailing edge to get rid of noise

Here is how to deal with scratches

Contrary to popular belief, all Foils ventilate at some point.
Do you mean that "all masts ventilate..."?

Would a fuselage, properly sanded prevent the ventilation from reaching the wing? Any vids of the ventilation actually making it from the surface, down to the fuselage, and down to the wing (standard, not canard) setup?

No. Both Masts and Wings can ventilate. Wings will ventilate after breaching unless they are designed to not do that (Mikes Lab, Chubanga V2, Moses Comet 2018)

I used to have one, but I cannot find it anymore. I will post it if I find it. For now, here is a usual mast ventilation

I went to 3000 grit and it was a pain to keep finished.

I now ride 1000 as I am not racing and that's fine for me.
