Not really, better to sit like a buoy on the water, if yo sit on your foil you will be dragged downwind.

Strutless kites are the best for relauching in light wind.
One strutt is 300 gram.
Here i show how to relaunch a stutless kite in deep water when the LE is on his back. It always work. I manage to relauch a 17m cloud in 6 knots.
