How would you like it if kite manufacturers labelled their kites with a span measurement or descriptions such as "freestyle" and never mentioned the area.

why can't they indicate the surface area, shape and volume?
What in the number hints me that 633 is a surf shovel and 637 is a compo race wing?

I guess some guys think their hydrofoil is the center of the world
or are so unaware they think it's the only way to label foil wings
With the choice of nearly 40 brands offering each 2 or 3 foils + numerous wings what are the odds anyone knows (or cares) what a 626b or 735s wing is unless they own one.
