Thanks Grig.
makes sense on shorter fuse.
If I try 683 where would you put mast track?
All the way back?

I had mast for 633 and 683s mounted at same spot - my 36” board doesn’t have tracks and I had pretty much same stance, certainly for the rear foot which pushes against kicker.
Note that Micro has more forward placement of tracks compared to regular 3’6” Dwarfcraft so with Micro you’d have the mast all the way back.

I have the 683 with the 710 fuse. I think it was not meant to fix any of the front foot pressure as they moved the front wing and the stabiliser about the same distance towards the mast so I think that just cancelled out any possible change.

I needed to buy a spare wing set and decided on the standard longer fuse and standard longer rear stabilizer, along with another 683s.
after giving it a lot of thought I decided that for me the combination is perfect.
and the 633 is better when I am facing a wavy sea where the 683s is less perfect.
I am using the two wings around the same time each,
I do find I need to move the mast a few cm more forward when using the 683s

Update –
633 - Rode 2 hours on 633 with mast all the way back. Feels great. I think this is a good setup, maybe too early to fully review, but it rides like old 633 set up. I think the 450 gives it a looser feel which made for a good experience. The only thing that I have to note is feet position seems to be less forgiving. Not a bad thing but there is maybe +/- 1” area, where the 749 was more like 2”. Also it does float on its side 80% of the time. Sometimes it will foil down and act normal. Overall I like this as it does not get away from you as fast.
683s – Sweet ride. I get it now. I probably will ride this more now. Also rode in same spot with mast all the way back. Also I think it does not float on side

Do you mean that the old fuselage is more stable than the new one?
I tested today with my groove skate 120 the old one and wow!
I can buy the new o the old one, now I don't konw which to buy.

On the 749 you had mast all the way back but 710 has mast only 13mm forward (0.5”), so I’d say 1.5” move you made initially was too aggressive.
Also the stabilizer sits closer to the mast so it will also eat away from those 13mm - basically consider both wing and stabilizer being moved closer to the mast.
The 683s will make you consider 633 obsolete for kiting. They have lowend beyond what I could detect and both don’t stall at extreme low speeds. But 683s flies faster and feels faster being thinner wing.
After riding 683s for two weeks I started thinking that 633/790/873 are rather truly surfing wings. They’d work with a kite but feel slow, especially in an open water where you can ride further out without need to turn back
Hi grigorib, 683s is faster than 633 but which one carves better? And is there a significant difference in terms of stability between new fuselage 710/633 and the old one?. My idea is to use 590 if I want to cruise and 633 for carving.

In Jimmy Mazzanti’s words “683s is a refined 633”. I can carve and turn just as fine on 683s as on 633. The reports above are that people enjoy 633 more for slower waves but I can certainly go as slow on 683s.
I’d say it’s the largest wing you need for foiling with a kite unless you weigh 260 pounds
590 and 633 were my sweet couple since beginning of 2018 and I regret that it hasn’t been 590 and 683s instead.
I felt no significant difference between 710 and 749 (besides 710 being compact and lighter). I know some people like longer fuselage which increases resale value for 749

hello, I also have 590 and 683s with a 101 mast.
could I ask you what table you use?
do you move the mast?
what stance you have when you mount the 683s, measured from the column to the strap (from the rear screw of the front screw column of the strap to the bow). Thank you
