finish the wing with motorcycle tank gloss lacquer spray, this takes 2 days to dry(cure)
Can you reccomend a particular brand of laquer spray to use?

Photo shows the 400grm tube which is way too large as you use so little, try to find a tiny tube👍
Use a stanley knife type blade or a old credit card to spread a very thin coating over the scratches or pinholes.
Wasnt this shown in one of George Hradil's recent video posts? Can't find it

Found it... not that recent though :)

good old Halfords sell a standard size spray can, really good stuff, but read the instructions as the rules of how to spray are very strict, 15 mins between coats, maximum 3 coats and must complete all three coats within one hour, then leave for 2 days to cure.
(that's all from memory so just check first)
rock hard deep gloss that is even nicer if you use a palm buffer with resin polish after, better than new!

After filling the scratches with red 3M you paint them black with a waterproof marker?
I have done a few times to save time, but after getting new spare wings then I tend to only use a marker pen if its a very small scratch line that i have filled with the red Glass compound.
it works well for small red scratch lines if your time bound.

I save the dust from my sander bag when I sand carbon. Mix that in with epoxy works to make it black and helps to be stronger.

That glazing compound fills in small holes. It doesnt actually provide any repair.

Here's an how too I uploaded a few years back using superglue and baking soda.

I've been doing superglue repairs for small repairs for years. The repairs are still holding up.

Instead of using superglue with baking soda you can use super glue with graphite powder for small chips. This makes the repaired spot black.
For bigger chips I use polyester resin with microbaloons and black milk paint powder. This can be sanded very nicely for a great finish.

wow! the things you learn, this is great, the list of little tips seems to never end,
black milk powder is up there for the "never heard of that stuff before" prize

I did once a few years ago on a Stringy wing (made from G-10). The Solrez was weak and fell out. I don't think it's as strong as 2-part epoxy slow cure.
