Should have more lift but slower turning than 633. I am doubtful it will be much fun with a kite unless rider is really large. May be good for using with a small kite that depowers and drifts well for downwind pumping runs.

this is accurate..
i've only used with on a 5 peak so far in lower winds(<15 knots)..chasing 3-4 ft swell
low end is great(and pretty easy to do start directly on foil).. i dont really notice a difference in turning (all compared to a 633)
might be my imagination but it seems to balance well without much user input when heading directly into kite....feels like if you can do an S-turn..then you could carve a healside to toe side gybe without thinking

foot pressure felt same as 633 in same position on board.
..i have not pushed the upper.

oh, it is big..

So given the options available, 633, 683s and 790, which would be your number one choice?

Impossible to answer as individual choices...

The 633 is the lively lightwind and allround good wave wing.

683 is for those who want to ride in light wind and overall, have fun and ease in maneuvers, go better upwind and maybe not riding (m)any waves.

790 I think would be good for a really marginal wind toy with its 1529 cm2, but here the 683 with is higher speed and performance might work better for some riders.
It could also be the new trend with sizes 1500-2000 cm2
Time will tell as it is us as users who find the "place" for all the wings - the brands have no idea (at first) where a wing will end up, as it has been turned around many times the last years

Find this in web..:

what app do people use for thes speed and direction?
i see the gopro remote...and i assume an apple watch. is the app from gopro? or his watch?

im very much the grem with this video stuff.

Many action cameras got built in gps (GoPro not up to 6, but 7 has).
For these cameras, the software usually comes when you buy the cam (Canon), or can be purchased afterwards.

But you can use many gps'es with any action camera, and make your own indicators in a movie, using Garmin Virb Edit or other software - you can see a lot on youtube if you need info.

PS: I think this "TeleTubbies" view is the most boring one of all camera angles, but used a lot as we at first think "wow everybody else should see what we see out there", it just does not work that way IMO :(

Speaking of a new trend in larger sizes, I think higher aspect, large wings (greater than 1200) might be the next interesting thing for kiters. The vast majority of larger wings on the market have AR in the mid to low 3's. There are only a few large carbon foils with AR's greater than 4 (Moses 790, Ketos Kruiser, Delta Surf...maybe a couple of others). It seems higher AR should work very well for light wind free riding. Wish there were more accessible options for demo'ing.

Very true slowboat.

The advantage of bigger but not huge higher AR wings is, you get the same lift as the bigger wings when starting (low AR kills lift), and less drag so you can ride in even lower wind when first up :naughty:

I use my Ketos Kruiser wing 1100 cm2 a lot these lightwind summerdays, amazing fun and lifts earlier than a 1200 low AR wing.
Some of the best days right now !

But on this forum you often read that many dont wanna foil when below 10 knots, so not for them obviously

Maybe this depends on the conditions you kite. Here in Barbados we have winds between 10 kts and 25kts around the year. Never completely flat but always swells and mostly breaking waves on the reef. I like to use small kites. Mainly using my Duotone Neos 6, 8 and 9 on 24m lines and in super light winds for me (9 to 13kts) I take out my Soul10 on 17m lines.
I have used most of the Moses wings except the race wings. Since using the 633 I have not used my 548, 550 and 558 anymore. I tried the 873 when it came out but found it way too big for kiting. Eventually I bought the 683S and the 790. Since having the 683S I don't enjoy the 633 anymore. It feels like much more resistance due to the thicker profile. Bottom end is almost the same but top end on 683 is and feels much higher. I also prefer the 683S in waves sailing down the line. The 790 is a great wing but for my liking also a bit too slow and not nimble enough... So for me it is the 683S on a T22 board strapless at 85kg.
My son loves the 790 for pumping and surfing.

Do you think the 790 has a significantly better low end than 633/683 for kiting?

Another question is behavior of 790/710 fuse on its side. Float, sink slowly, sink fast? Thanks
