as in the title.
this happened to me a few days back.
On the beach with warm drying sun I was playing around swapping wings to see how fast I could push various combinations as the conditions were good for speed.
at times my wet wing sets were left on the beach on my board bag whilst using the other sets,
the sea was littered with soft light brown seaweed, not the black tough stuff that knocks you off, so I was mostly ignoring it and blasting through it.
then I noticed that when I swapped back to my first wing set it was a horrible shuddering experience, unstable and not willing to play at speed.
when back on shore and back at the car when the wings had dried out , I noticed all surfaces were heavily marked with gummy streaks that were not
as easy to see when wet, the mast was heavily streaked with this very thin marking along with the front and back wings,
Pauline spotted me gawping at these marks and looked and asked what on earth had I done?
easily removed with my soapy cloths, but a sigh of relief as it disappeared so easily,
shocking horrible feeling,
it really did feel like I had forgotten to tighten up my fixing screws.
