From your point of view what is missing at the Maverick to be an excellent kite for hydrofoiling?
For exactly this reason I offered to Rainer to be 'a team' rider. Get a quiver of his kites and a bar for a decent discount. I proposed to, in exchange, offer people the Netherlands the opportunity to try the gear.
So I believe Gong have some test riders in your spot so you can try your Gong stuff before buying it?Peert wrote: ↑Sun Sep 15, 2019 11:41 amFor exactly this reason I offered to Rainer to be 'a team' rider. He was not interested. (Gear was well priced enough was his comment).
IMHO you cannot expect kiters to buy without trying.
The only scenario in which I do this is when I am sure I can sell the kites again if they don't fit my style/preference. With an new an unknown brand to the masses you risk loosing a significant part of your yearly kitesurf budget...
Still believe this kite is well designed. And it is clear the bar is clever.
True. I waiting for my 7 to arrive soon I hope. If I don’t like it I change to something else.
Has there been testing with racing foil kitesRainer Kauper wrote: ↑Mon Aug 05, 2019 2:29 pmHave you checked the German oase.com forum yet?
With Google translate it should be no problem to "read" it.
There are some reviews and lots of more info, also from my side.

My very first bars hat an external eyelet in the center of the bar, but I didn´t like the feeling when testing last summer. To me the bar felt indirect and the tow point was not centred so I decided to search for a solution how to get a depower-rope covered by PU-tube and make it thin enough to let it go through the bar. The Carbon tube I use now has 22mm outside and 18mm inside diameter. That is very stable.
