I have exchanged the wichard because it kept self-releasing even with the new one.
Once in a light wind sesh and once in 13ms a bit more sketchy one!
I got one of these for 10 eur and so far no self-releases yet!

I'm foiling with peaks with this setup, the tension is minimal if you just let go of the bar!
I'll get to keep my kites😅

Leash at the Wichard

With this setup you can replace the expensive wichard with a normal Swivel, or am I missing something?

Better to have the leash also push away so you can disconnect without the need of tension on the flagout line.

Wrong kind of wichard. It wont release under pressure.

This is not a release. It is a hook. Far superior to the standard one, that kiteboarding inherited from windsurfing.

this one is for the flag line ! In my opinion it doesn't really need to release under pressure.

Don't need seatbelts either, until you do.

Using my work for their profit is just that: a shame."
This?
