No one has said.. "pintxo" is an awkward/ugly word to pronounce in English. How do you say that? Pin-texo? Pynt-x-o? Pint-kso?

In spain, a pincho is a snack thats on a toothpick. If you haven’t been to the basque country you better add it to your bucket list!

You need only 2 pair of extension lines, 3m and 6m to get all of your line lenghts.
You are absolutely right, but I have decided to divide the 9m extensions in 3 parts as only the very last 3m extension has those small flags to open the loops after riding. That´s a little bit more comfortable to me.

My understanding is that the line on the right of the bar comes around a post in the middle of the bar to convert the pull out of the trim line to a pull in motion on the leader line on that side (your knotted trim line is the orange line in my simulation). Is that correct?
More or less you are right. I'm going to make a small video in approx 3 weeks to show how easy it is to disassemble the whole bar. Then you can see the internal parts anyway much better.

Can you tell us a but more about what is happening inside your bar? I am guessing the centre hole has a fitting around it to give it shape and strength and probably to run the trim line around. Is this correct? Is it all made from plastic or carbon or some stainless steel?
There are no moving parts inside the bar, so there won´t be any problems with sand, dust, salt etc. The parts are made of injection Polyamid reinforced with fibreglass in order to get a smooth sliding of the lines.

At the very first prototypes we just called it stick, but we didn't like that name at all. As we spend a lot of time on Mallorca island you get many times in touch with local habits, so we searched for a local translation and Pintxo we liked a lot. I know it´s not easy to pronounce first time, but you will never ever forget now... :D

Ciao

Still i think Rainer must present to hydrofoil lovers market kite dedicated only for foiling. Super lightweight, at least one universal size as 10 ir 9 m (or 9.69m:), agil, with few possible tuning setups, weight less than 1.7 kg (that would be substantial lighter than Maverick 9m) with 1+2 struts and wide wind range as from 6konts to 18 (20) knots what is most commont range for all spots worldwide. This will be substantial step forward and he can earn exceptional name in foil kite market with reasonable price also. This is what foilers need. Yes, exist clouds but they are expensive plus one strut not 3, so not suitable good for gusts, also in europe are not sales of clouds. This is be good niche for Kauper i think. Also no reinforcements to save weight. For foiling most important point is not light bar, it's leightest possible inflated kite, this is most importat as all foilers want to foil in sub light winds also also far from shore, be save and can pottentially get up kite from water in 6-8knots winds. Such foil kite is key point for this market and will be forever. Wave-foil kite is not something new, also i think more kiters use tt-foil setup than wave-foil setups. So, please Reiner think about such dedicated foil kite and do ambition to creat such magic LEI foil kite which will beat finally fs Souls forever !!!

Okay, but what is "tt-foil setup" and "wave-foil setup", still confused...

Are you talking about hydrofoils set up for jumping versus hydrofoils for waves, or about hydrofoils using tt boards instead of waveboards, or?

I also observe more people alternate riding TT/hydrofoil than people who ride kitesurfboard/hydrofoil

In places I travel to wave riders are rare, also ramps and whole unhooked trend is almost non-existent. But again, there must be thousands of them elsewhere.
