Well, I guess there is a BIG difference in what YOU EXPERTS believe...and what happens to be the real life...
The teamriders deliver big time in the video...so I guess their developers might know what is needed to get out a decent product.
I will never get it... so much negativity here, buy what ever floats YOUR boat!
what's wrong with using XR(4,5,6) for foiling?
Yes, it will not give you ultimate low end (with 5 struts and all) but if you are in to it than you really need to go foil on foil and not LEI..
I got 15 soul for 5-10kts foiling ...Sometime I push it to 15kts for HF boosting.. so 10-20kts works great with 12RX5 and freerace foil rig.. One strutter is the last kite i'd shop for my foiling needs... maybe it's just me..

Looking forward to a measured weight in a standard size like 12 or 9m !
Exactly, my thoughts as well. It's great when manufacturers show the weight of their products on their sites, ie. Slingshot on their surfboards and Duotone on their kites, but praising abt the lightness of the kites and then not publishing the numbers, is not that great...
Especially considering that other Core kites weigh a ton.

It just you. Just your style of foiling. I never want back to a slow Soul after having my Clouds.

Ah, a new foil kite on the market!
Oh, a tube kite for foiling
Can the term "foil kite" be used for ram airs, it is already confusing enough....

I was also mislead/confused by the title of this thread. It shoud be "Our new dedicated
tube kite for
hydrofoil takes off: Core XLite"

It´s a game changer. Foil kites will disappear soon. Accept the inevitable.

True...in our spot RAM Air are mostly disapper and 90% strutless/onestrut...only pro rider still use RAM Air here(4/5)...probably this monostrut more performance with surfboard too and twintip compare to other strutless

ok guys we got first real live data:
rounded 2.200gr for a 9m X Lite from a test quiver
Sounds to me on par with Ozone Alphas, whilest Ozone doesn´t provide 9m but 10m with 2.250gr

I find the XRs to be really poor for foiling... they don't drift well. You want the kite to stay in the air when your lines get a bit slack during turns. The GTS does a much better job in this area than the XR. I've moved from XRs to GTSs in my quiver mainly for this reason, but I still get great performance with jumps, etc.
I'd still like to give one of these XLITEs a try though.

L-a-t-e. Not innovative.
While core is playing catch-up to almost every other brand on this, there is another company bringing actual cutting-edge weight reduction technology this year.
