What kind of App / watch (whatever) are you using? and what software?
Do you have a vid of the tacking?

Garmin Descent MK1.
Software - http://gpsactionreplay.free.fr/

No video. 15mins of video with 88 tack? Boring to watch it too.
This is tracking of tacking freak in 8secs ;)

I love a good kitefoiling challenge! Challenge accepted! I'll give it a go today, no Gps but I'll chuck the GoPro on and can count them up on that...

Different strokes for different folks I guess.

I look at your session and can’t help wonder why you would do all that work only to do long straight lines back downwind?

Not all that different a drawing from mine only I go the opposite direction. Long straight lines upwind and the squiggly lines coming back down.

managed 55 tacks and then 57 jibes back down not my record but on a different foil and kite than what im used to, so pretty chuffed. I'll remember gps one of these days. Its a great way to practice and improve for me (and get used to different setup). i ride 5 - 10 seconds then tack.

I did the same years ago when learning frontroll transition on a twintip i put myself between a moored boat and the shore with 150 m between them to force myself to practice more. works a treat.

I managed to fit tacking in a 25m channel. I believe you forgot about this topic:

It was a training to a formula competition.
This part was a kind of freaky exercise: airborne tacks with feet transition asap to improve muscle memory.
Another part was a short track with a passing an upwind mark while rounding the mark by tacking.
I do not compete on regular basis. My goal was not to be the last one in the ranking.
The full training session looked like this:

Warning - not sure if it's a good challenge but for sure boring ;)
Anyway - who will break 100 tacks first (all airborne and feet transition in one go!) ???

First of all, no gps track, no gopro and I probably cheated by being on a big wing.
I used moses 633 c72 strapless with 7m edge in 14 knots.
I managed 101 flying tacks back to back with around 20 to 30m between each. I touched down at no.30 then a brief touch at 49 and 50 so had to continue to 151 to make sure it counted. I did this over roughly 3 to 4km. Thoroughly exhausting.

Enjoyed the challenge, look forward to doing it on a more challenging foil when I finally get my replacement.

Well done! No worries about Onda foil. 100 done. Dot.
A small kite is more crucial for quick tacking than a foil. Reaction of 7m inflatable must be 2-3 times faster than a 15m foil kite.
It would be good to know how much time (minutes, seconds) it took.
Tracking - you can use a smartphone GPS location combined with any tracking app.
