I'm also looking to upgrade to a faster wing to replace my spaceskate. Can anyone compare low/high end of the spaceskate vs the Apollo 60 and infinity 65? Thank you!

I’d consider H2 (Gamma 68) as upgrade option too. Higher aspect, plenty of area for kiting and costs peanuts.

Also wondering if the Apollo 60 would be a good and cheap upgrade from the spaceskate, or if I should cash out for the Moses 633.

The Apollo is not a cheap option comparing to the older wings mentioned. Still less expensive than switching all to moses. There is also an option to get the moses wings and fuselage adaptor to keep using the alu mast.

- When I use this front wing with my kite I feel that I have to put too much force on my back foot and almost nothing to my front foot, so should I move my plate to front or back of my board?
...
Move your mast forward by 1.5-2” and adjust from there
I followed your advice and the result was great.
Actually I just moved 1.5" , next time I will try 2", at 2” I will reach full mast forward.
Will this setup help me with foot change and tack?

Comparing a SpaceSkate VS Apollo (or 633 Moses), who has more glide to ride on wave?
Here I'm not interesting in carves , speed or etc, only in the ability to glide and feel the wave push me , using the minimum of the kite at the moment I'm on a wave.

Hi here. I have an Apollo 60 wing and have been using it for about 8 months. I have never used the Space Skate, so unfortunately can offer no comparison. My first SS wing was the was the original H5 (?) that was part of the Hoverglide set.

The Apollo 60 is a great wing. Just like the Moses 633, it's a great all rounder. Very nice low end and can be pushed to a very respectable top speed, much faster than the Space Skate I would think. It carves turns beautifully - both tight / pivot style turns or drawn out ones. It's loose when you want it to be, but still predictable and well mannered. I'f you are learning new skills, this wing is a great choice too. Tacks and 360's are lots of fun on this wing. Foot swaps became far easier when I started on this wing compared to the H5.

I am now riding a Moses 683S setup with the carbon 91 mast. This is a dream to ride - light and smooth, but what I will say, apart from being a heavier set up, the Apollo 60 is pretty close in terms of riding experience to my new Moses gear. I would HIGHLY recommend the Apollo 60 wing.

Thanks for the comparison! It seems like upgrading the wing to an Apollo instead of changing to a complete moses setup is reasonable. I guess the only downside is weight. My space skate setup weighs a ton compared to the moses setups I've handled at my local spot, but once I get in the water it doesn't bother me. Are there any advantages to a light setup if you're not planning on jumping with the foil?
