Space skate was bat wing or also H4. The original was the H5 or NF 2 and now I believe timecode 57cm. I have both. I love the h4 though, I've hit 39kmh and as slow as 13kmh through my GPS watch. If you crave something different go for it!

Not to highjack the thread, but slingshot and moses were/are together right? Moses has the 683 wing, does slingshot make a wing similar to that?
I’ve been pushing the h5 and hit 40,7kmh.
Now I bought a speedy h4 and wonder de speed range of it. Saw somewhere on youtube it can go up to 25-26 knots.

The shape reminds a little the spotz tuna I guess.

What would be the advantage of a wider span? Perrhaps stability at higher speeds?

I would like to hear some thoughts about this wing also called warp speed since it isnt that popular.
I weigh 70kg and on a Dwarftcraft 4'6" I can hold the H4 or "SpaceSkate" in 14-16 knots wind on a 7m prodigy to 39km/h or around 21knots according to my gps watch. Really have to focus though.. after that it gets super twichy. I usually get nervous and with no one around, just do a boardless boost haha.

Have not tried the Warp Speed but looks fast.. I'm looking for something to take me into the 50km/h range but still have some low end stability..
Sorry I got mistaken with the h3 wing which is the fastest on hoverglide line up. I am not sure yet but I think you can get somewhere close to that speed. Maybe I update you in a few weeks if I had any sucess.

You talk about speed. My concern is more about wether the big spaceskate is fully appropriate for freestyle (strapless tacks, 180s, 360s, ...). I feel like it's too slow sometimes. Or do you think it's nice for learning that? Or do you think it's only nice for getting the basics of riding and then one should change gear?

You could try the Infinity 76 wing. I haven't, but have read reviews of others and I was thinking about it at one point. Google will help you.
Apparently..: it has great low end, pretty decent top end for its size (faster than the space skate), looks carvy enough on u-tube vids (at low speed), more stable than the space skate.

I do all that on a bigger wing. I don't think speed is a big factor, but IDK cos I'm no expert.

Of course, that wing might be horribly draggy and with a narrow range...

Why not just try them moves and see? :D

I felt the space skate was awesome for getting up and staying on foil. But, for me it was a handful when you started going fast and had trouble with it in maintaining speed and turning in transitions.

I switched to a cloud 9 x24 foil and it made a huge difference at least to me. I went from struggling to even get the foil turned around to being automatic on toe and heel side turns and riding toeside either direction.

Based solely on my very limited experience I would say there are easier wings to ride for transitions.

I'm starting to tack with my space skate, its definetly capable with those with more experience.

Trying to kite surf small waves with a big foil has inherent difficulties. A big foil is appropriate for small waves but not when you add a kite to the mix. Most (but not all, kite foilers) find that a big foil has too much lift when you add the lift from the kite. It will be much better with a wing ding.

Guys,
I bought my h4 space skate but I would like some answers and advices.

- Is this wing good for prone surf small wave?
- When I use this front wing with my kite I feel that I have to put too much force on my back foot and almost nothing to my front foot, so should I move my plate forward or back of my board?
- does anyone use this front wing for wing foil?
