nice review.

got me curious to try a 683
def worth a try. I havent got the 633 to compare against, however I think the 683S is a really nice wing :D A bit of speed and it is stable as. I havent experienced any cavitation issues but maybe Im not using it ike Joe.

This discussion seems a little OTT. Surely, as with most other kiting stuff, no one component does everything best? There are compromises to be made ... & do you really want to switch out your gear for every variation in conditions or kiting style that comes along?

I AM curious about the 683: it does not seem to appear on the Moses website under "front wings" at all.

683

683s
https://store.moseshydrofoil.com/surf/surf-front-wing

not under the kitesurf section.
i know....

Still confused as to how you get to that section! Also: is there any difference between the 683 & 683s? :-?

My impression (from reading other's comments) is that a wing between 950 sq cm & 1050 sq cm & 4.5 -5.00 AR is a good all-round "large wing" for foiling, while something around 1200 sq cm to 1250 sq cm with an AR of 3 - 3.5 is going to be a slower, surfier wing, harder to ride at speed.

Back strap in #3 position (it won't go back to #4 without a long screw which I don't have to put the strap on the bump).
Don't be afraid to cut it with a razorblade--it's just foam.:D

683 is windsurf wing which is only compatible with 838 2018 windsurf fuselage

683s is a surf wing compatible with 749/710/900 fuselages and works magic for kitefoiling

Actually it has improved compared to what it used to be,

I think the website looks fine ... it's the way they've chosen to categorize the wings that's confusing.
