like all new gear defo get up close to inspect the quality, and have someone with you who is not wearing rose tinted glasses, I often see a new Armstrong wing board set up (not a kite hydrofoil version) on the grass at one of my go to beaches, and from a distance it looks very striking in its black and white zebra stripes, get up to one and examine the fit and finish like I have done, run your fingers down over those stick on stripes, grab the wings with the board firmly seated in the ground and feel for play, maybe I am just too fussy and have a keen eye for engineering design detail, or it is an old design, looked very new to me though. but if its the right price point and not too fussed about these details then maybe it will suit, certainly looks the part from 10ft away, very eye catching.
