Absolutely foiling is the awesomest, funnest thing there is.

People doing more and better stuff on their foils is more to do with the efforts of the riders. They would do that stuff on any of the current crop of applicable foils.

Minor refinements are all well and good but I'm not going to buy a new foil unless it offers me something tangible that I can't get now.

Physically all the stranger shapes are disappearing and we're stablising on relatively flat foils. Bigger foils are pretty much a given for the average rider looking to have maximum fun.

I would like to see a race foil that is much faster than the current ones, or a freeride foil with the speed and upwind capability of the current crop of race foils. That would spark my interest (I also have a hankering for a race foil but don't want to spend AUD$5000-6000 to get one).
