Update:
Ended up buying the S2 stab.
Bought the WaveXL before my Grand Cayman trip last week.
Rode a few days with the WaveXL and Karver stab that I had. Figured change one variable at a time so have yet to try the S2 with either wing.
I'll try some different combos this spring. Most curious to try the S2 with the 1200 wing.

Have to say that I love the WaveXL!
Faster and a bit more responsive than the 1200 and it seems the stall speed is really close.
I think I'll end up riding the XL in all but the lightest conditions or maybe when working on moves.
I could see where it might get more use in surf, moderate surf but I'm still getting my feet wet there, keeping to friendlier conditions.
Seems the faster speed allows the kite to generate more power and my upwind is better, makes sense I guess.
Super happy with the XL!!

I did not know they (Ketos) had a 1500 cm2 wing - custom made or?

It is from a guy who made prototypes for Ketos in the past.
He makes Ketos compatible stuff and experiments a lot
I have the 1500 with short fuselage and stab. Will sell it as I probably switch to Moses, cheap. Probably great for winging too :-)

Ketos is testing shorter fuselages. That can make it even more complicated. :)

Speaking of shorter fuses, aren't they also developing a monofoil?

True.

Not sure, but I think test and research on the monofoil wing, is not the same as it will be brought to production.

Depends on how well it works, and if the potential customers are present or not.
