360 - tight or wide kiteloops?

Hi, what kind of loops do you while doing 360s?

I most of the time grab the bar more on the inner side and don't change this for the 360. So the loop is huge and pulls a lot. Do you grab the bar outside and do a tight loop? What is recommended for beginners?

completely depends on how tight your 360 is. They are proportional.

Super tight pivot style 360, super tight kite loop.

Nice big smooth circle, nice big drawn out loop to keep the power on throughout the move.

Agree. Also depends on wind strength related to kite size. If overpowered, you go for a very tight loop, if not, rather for a bigger one.
So in summary: Depends on conditions, style and equipment.

Agreed.
The exit of the 360 is practically the same as a carve from toeside to heelise with a downloop. Practicing these is a great way to get a feel for the second half of the 360.

Totally! light wind and your generally doing bigger more drawn out 360s and they generally get more and more button hook like as the wind goes up.

That clip of juglajohn above is in decent wind and its the tightest 360's ive seen of him on vid. He has a really nice flow to his style and other clips really show his larger radius 360's well.

Yup I was well powered during that clip but it's one of the few that show kite and bar and foil. I was trying to keep them tighter to stay close to the go pro
Big / powered loops you've got to run with them and therefore radius will be bigger.
Tight loops for tight 360s.

I find foils with a higher stall speed like a bigger smoother 360. Big surfy foils can be easily turned on a (six pence / dime)

Out of interest are you (Wavy Navy) able to do a foot switch tack or even a tack from heel to toe side?

@Sfollis: I can do them, but not consistent.

As I use a big frontwing (Moses Onda) I can only do tight 360s. So I should do the kiteloops much tighter than I did before to get it more consistent.
