As an update to this thread, no clue about the Apollo wing, but I picked up the H4 for that Black Friday deal and it's been great. It took a session or so to get used to as it provided a lot more feedback compared to the H5. It felt stiff at first, but I quickly found it was nice and carvy, the feedback helps on toeside to give you something to lean harder against.

Overall it's a good move from the beginner NF2.

I love my H4 but would lay down some extra bucks for the new apollo If was in your shoes right now..
Since launching date haven’t heard of any experience or reviews on this Apollo wing.

Considering the similarity with the popular 633 it must be a nice and forgiving wing for wave freeride kite riding but maybe the price is a bit of a turn off for the hoverglide owners to make an easy upgrade.
Yea I'm thinking of just bypassing the apollo and just going with a full 633/91cm setup now..

633 has been golden but depending on your weight and riding style you might want 20% smaller and 20% thinner 679 instead.

Here’s feedback from a friend who has had 633 for a year and got 679 before recent La Ventana trip

I'm 70kg. I use a spaceskate which is larger than the 633. Wouldnt a 633 be quicker/more agile than a spaceskate?

Yes, 633 is better/faster/smoother/lighter than H4 (Space Skate) but at 70kg weight one should get a 679 (or 683s) and it’ll be way more fun.

Appreciate the input! Which kite size do you think I'll need with the 679 at my weight? I usually use my spaceskate with a 17m strutless at 5-9knots, 10m at 9-14knots, 7m 14knots to 22ish knots. Freshwater in land lakes.

I'm 200+ lbs riding 683s (same as 679) and my kite choice goes as following from lightest wind to strongest
9m Rally on 30m lines
7m Rally on 30m lines
7m Rally on regular lines
5m SST on regular lines
4m SST on regular lines

7m Rally on long lines is 10+ knots and up till I can ride 7 on regular lines. Below 10 is 9m on long lines. I try to stay not overpowered so I can comfortably loop kites so I tend to choose smaller kite. Pretty much white caps and up I can ride with 5m
I still have 11m Rally but wouldn't foil under it - it feels too big, too slow

If I was 70kg I would probably stay with 4/5/7/9 quiver but would ride 9 even less often.

Since Rallys have been my one-kite-fits-all for both jumping and foiling I kept using the 9m for lightwind foiling, not really tempted to use 11m for less wind as there comes wind speed when they gotta be actively flown to stay up in the air and larger wing weigh more as well.
Yet the 9m Rally at 6.6lbs is making me think of getting 10m Ghost for lightwind foiling. Maybe. Still debating.
What I’m not debating is 4/5/7 SST quiver for foiling planned for coming summer :)

Thanks! Good information. I think my 7m prodigy and 10m flite should do well with the 679 then. The H4 is so large I get powered up quickly on my 7m. A smaller wing should hopefully balance my kite sizes out a bit more.. unfortunately the 679 package comes with a 82cm(?) mast instead of the 91cm.. I see the 633 comes with a 91cm though.. funny they put a larger foil on a taller mast and visa versa.
