….679 package comes with a 82cm(?) mast instead of the 91cm.. I see the 633 comes with a 91cm though.. funny they put a larger foil on a taller mast and visa versa.
I saw a take on that as being some sinister marketing trick "let's sell suboptimal sets and let folks buy few more components to bring it to what they actually need"

Personally I think it's a blunder and/or lack of flexibility on logistics to be able to meet "average" mass demand.
- 633 has probably been most popular wing of Moses in past two years but for light riders it makes it harder to ride. Also for riders who seek more cruising speed it's pretty thick wing. Still most popular I guess
- 91cm is de-facto default-golden size used by all kind of experience folks and riding conditions

The problem with "most popular set" is that if you're looking for a short mast or long mast or smaller wing or larger wing - not always you'd find a set matching your requirements off the bat.

Many US dealers would mix/match components allowing you to benefit from a price break on full set and getting the set you actually want .

Good thing is there are so many "standard" sets in kite/surf section that it's easier to pick a few you actually need. I tend to buy extra set and sell duplicate items or what I don't really use. And usually there are fellow local riders who'd gladly complete their sets with some extra parts so everyone stays happy.

My personal "happy" set would be:
- short mast for shallows + long mast for deep water
- smaller wing for speed and cruising and larger wing for lowend.
- same fuselage
- same stabilizer
Yet again, unfortunately I have to use different fuselages and different for smaller and larger wing but I'm looking for a way to overcome that. It's fun to experiment :)
