I included the hours for the “nerds”, therefore my 152hrs over 105 sessions means my average session was ~1.5hrs with an average distance of 35km. I’m never that lucky to have multiple sessions in a single day.
I was curious to know if there was a better logging platform other than Strava?
Still so many definitions of "sessions".
Is it simply kite days no matter how many spots you have been to? YES YOU GOT IT
Is it times one has been to the water and rigged up, and down and left again? Meaning sometimes several times a day same or different spots.NO
Is it times one changes kite and/or board, going ashore landing and rigging another kite or changing board(s)? NO
Is it simply times one enters the water also after a break, meaning can be many times a day even with the same kite and board? NO
So depending on which of above one uses, the "number" of sessions can be say a factor 3 or 10 or 20 apart depending on the individual NO
Peter
Well i'm sure you still had a lot of fun being out there but yes that is not even an average of 1 day per week yearly of 52 sessions
Yes, every successive year gets better.
Read the posts above Gerrit... Bigtone has done 264 in 2019. Peter also above 200
Work is a big kite session killer! Or living in non-windy places or places with a short season. My personal record is 60 days/year. Would be great to live somewhere and have the work schedule where kiting is the after work fun. And also workout instead of the gym.
